Small Steps

The Richards Trauma Process is a great way to resolve past trauma quickly and safely.

One of the biggest problems that I see is that clients often do not think that the process has worked as they have not experienced huge changes whilst in trance. This can happen but in a majority the changes are small incremental changes over time.

The changes can be gradual and the person may not even notice them. I had a client who had to travel up the coast to see me. It took her 90 minutes and when she got to me she said that it was stressful. After the first session she came back and told me that the traffic must have been lighter as it had only taken her 40 minutes and she was not stressed.

In this case the client had not noticed the changes, it does not matter. What matters is that she had, had changes that were beneficial to her.

If you think about it a lot of our habits, good or bad, mostly come about gradually. It therefore makes sense that the breaking of these habits happens in small incremental steps
