Gratitude is easily shown by compliments. Say thank you! You can give a card, a small gift or just simply let the person know you appreciate their contribution. But compliments are more than this. Make a strangers day with a compliment! Look at people when you are out. Notice what they wear, their children, the way they treat people. It is so easy to say: You look great; love that colour on you; what well behaved children you have! It’s easy, try and notice how the smile you receive lights up your day in return!
Do you get trapped in negative thinking! You focus on what went wrong, what didn’t happen! Sometimes, we forget to ‘count our blessings’ and realise that the challenges (negatives) in our lives, build our characters. We are Who we are, due to all the events, good and bad, who mould us! Learn to appreciate the gifts that arise from the challenges we encounter!
